Why did you join the RMC GeoCORE team?
Being in the military has allowed me to explore various parts of Canada. In 2022, I had the opportunity to visit Rankin Inlet in Nunavut, flying over the breathtaking Canadian tundra and observing the unique living conditions. This experience fueled my curiosity for the cold regions. Joining the RMC GeoCORE team provides me with the opportunity to actively contribute to research, delve into the study of cold regions and focus on understanding environmental change in the context of climate warming.
What do you like about the RMC?
I love working with highly motivated individuals who have similar interests in the cold regions.
What is your research topic?
I will be looking at sinkhole mitigation techniques along the Hudson Bay railway.
Any interesting results to share?
Not yet.
What do you like to do for fun outside of school?
I enjoy rock climbing, reading, going out with friends and chilling with my cat.
